Description
We left Dublin to County Antrim in the north of the island, stopping for breakfast on the way before crossing to the British side.
First, we will visit the coast known as the Giant's Causeway, listed as a UNESCO natural heritage site.
Here we will have an hour and a half of free time to walk and admire the different prismatic shapes of the basaltic rocks formed 60 million years ago.
This landscape gave rise to local legends related to the mythological figure of the giant Finn McCool.
Part of the Spanish Invincible Armada ran aground on this coast in 1588 and on clear days you can see Scotland.
At noon we will go to the city of Belfast where we will take a panoramic bus tour to learn about its shady political past, the development and implementation of peace, up to its current situation as we pass through all the emblematic places: the City Hall, the Titanic neighborhood, the leaning clock tower of Prince Albert, the wall of peace, the political murals of the Catholic and Protestant proletarian neighborhoods.
After the panoramic view, there will be an hour and a half of free time in the city center to eat freely before returning to Dublin.
In Northern Ireland, the pound sterling is used because it belongs to Great Britain. We recommend paying with a credit card so you don't have to change money.
You don't need to bring a passport or documentation.
We are closed on January 1st, March 17th, December 25th and 26th.
